A Very Busy October

Our October has been busy with moving, but we've also done a lot of fun things.  We miss family and friends a lot but we're doing great in Saint Louis.  Andrew and Hannah both love their teachers and classes so I'm so happy about that.  Hannah made the transition from 2 1/2 hours of school a day to 7 hours of school a day without any problems.  Daniel's job is going well and I love having him home more.

Before we moved

We loved staying at Grandmas!

Flying to Saint Louis

Ethan loved the sticker book from Grandma

Eliza loved the baby doll bag from grandma.  Being able to bring the carseat on the airplane was a lifesaver!  The kids all did really good and we were grateful Daniels mom was there to help.

pumpkin patch 5 - I've lived in Washington my whole life and I've never gone apple picking.  I thought it was funny that we went in Saint Louis after living here only 2 days.

a beautiful fall hike

Cousin Megan, Hannah, Eliza and Daniel - We're happy to be near Daniel's family

Andrew had fun climbing

Saint Louis temple

The Saint Louis zoo is awesome...and free.  We need people to come visit so we can show them the cool zoo.

Getting ready to trunk or treat

Queen Elsa

Harry Potter

He loves the balance bike!  We miss having a cul-de-sac but our street is pretty quiet.

Happy Hannah

Eliza cleaning the windows.  Her hair is getting so long and out of control, I don't know what to do with it.  I like this hair style but she doesn't like sitting still for me to do it.

Washing dishes.  I don't know why these pictures all look so pixely.  They look fine on the computer, just not on blogger.

I tried to find pics that showed the house a little, but I'll take better ones of the house and post them soon.

Swimming at silverlake

He got really brave in the water all of a sudden

Andrew was so happy holding this sweet baby and held him many times

We're going to miss cousins!  They had fun at chuck e cheese for Andrew's birthday.

I can't believe he's in second grade!  He had a great first day.

I really can't believe she's in Kindergarten.  She was so excited and did great!

I looked up and he had his arm around her :)

Waiting at the bus stop with Andrew's good friend Mia.

There they go :(

Fun with GG
Lucky boys.  This was their third Seattle sports game in a week.

I'm sure the book is good upside down also :)

California Road Trip

The girls with their dolls before we left

The kids did so well in the car!  We drove for over 50 hours (including stops) on the trip.

Ethan loved listening to music

I didn't get many driving pics of Hannah and Andrew because they were too far back.

Happy

Swing at Aunt Paula's house where we stayed

Riding the carousel in San Francisco

It was so crowded in San Francisco.  We met Kelsy, Brett, and Riah down there and I'm mad I didn't get pictures of all of us there but it was so crazy.  Kelsy took this one for us.

Porch swing at Great Grandma's.

Kelsy and fam stopped on their way home to spend a little more time and the kids were so excited to spend time with Riah.

Skip-bo is great grandma's favorite game.  Andrew learned how to play and loved playing it with her.

A fun day at the beach.  Andrew loved jumping the waves.

Eliza and Stella.  Daniel's cousin Brie has 2 girls and we had fun hanging out with them.

Ethan loved playing in the sand.

Back on the road heading home

I like this picture because the book is so big you can't see her head, just some feet sticking out :)

The Redwoods were awesome.  We drove our van through this tree.

We had fun exploring the redwood forest.

The kids were all crazy climbers.

Cute

We took a lot of stops just to stretch.  They had fun throwing rocks and jumping puddles behind a gas station.

Brie's other daughter Sammy.  Hannah and Sammy had so much fun together.  It was sad to watch them say good-bye.  I stole this pic off of Daniel's phone.
