Winter Fun

Little E's first snow- he loved it!

He toppled over and thought it was very funny.

Miss H and Little E don't look thrilled but it was the only one with all three looking :)

Mr A loved sledding (so did Miss H but I didn't get a good pic of her sledding)

They especially loved when Daniel pulled their sleds behind the riding lawnmower :). They also liked going down the hill on their own without the lawnmower.
As you can see, the kids had a blast in the snow.  My cousin's husband was in the neighborhood one day with his snow plow so he made them a huge snow mountain that they loved to play on. Other than that...here is what is going on with us:

Mr A- He decided he wants to learn how to read and is doing very well with words that you are able to sound out. He is still loving wrestling and his favorite thing to do at home right now is bringing his mattress into the living room to do summersaults and flips on over and over and over.

Miss H- She decided she wants a baby sister (in addition to her baby brother) because she doesn't have a baby sister yet, so she is going to go to the doctor to get one because that is where they are born :). No...I'm not pregnant, this is just what she told me. Her favorite thing to do at home right now is probably playing with her doll house.

Mr E- He discovered how to strum on his mouth while making sounds to create fun noises :). His favorite thing to do at home right now is pulling himself up and cruising along the furniture. He also learned how to get down after he's done standing so that has been pretty helpful for him. Before he either fell down or cried until someone came to rescue him.

Daniel- He is crazy busy at work again but continues to be an amazing dad and husband. His favorite thing to do at home right now is just to be home spending time with us after long days at work. (I didn't ask him, but that is what I think he would say :)).

Jill- I have a lot of goals that I am taking tiny baby steps towards. Or at least thinking about beginning taking those tiny baby steps :). A few of them are to read Les Mis, the unabridged version, get back to making homemade bread, organize my house (this is a long continual process), and continue to enjoy this time at home with my kids. My favorite thing to do at home right now is planning and doing fun activities with the kids and chatting with Daniel at the end of the day.

So that is what we've been doing...at least the good stuff :). Its more fun to write about the good stuff than the temper tantrums and broken car doors, but there is some of that going on also.
