Fun Changes

We are doing well. There have been some fun changes and the biggest one is we found a house! We will move in about a month.  The kids have been back in school for almost 2 weeks.  Andrew and Hannah absolutely love their teachers.  Our new house doesn't go to the same school so we may try to keep them where they are for the rest of the year if we can.  Ethan started preschool!  He loves preschool but he gets a little anxiety before he goes about how he is going to miss being home.  Once he is there he does great and he loves his teacher and he comes home happy.  It is kind of crazy being home with only one kid for a few hours a couple of times a week.  Eliza is in a stage of spending a lot of time playing with baby dolls so she keeps pretty busy with that.  Another small change is that despite the fact that I'm not ready, Eliza is potty training.  She has been taking her diaper off a lot lately and when she took it off yesterday morning I told her to get the "little red potty" out. She peed on it ten times yesterday without me being involved in any way other than letting her hang out in only a shirt and giving her a gummy bear when she went. When I did put a diaper on for nap or going outside she peed in the diaper but she never went on the floor or anything. This is only the first step of many so we'll see what happens.  One final fun thing is Andrew and Hannah learned how to swim.  They still have a ways to go before being completely confident in the water but they are doing well.  Here are some pictures from what has been going on lately (at least from the happy moments of what has been going on lately).  Besides this there have been lots of regular life moments that aren't always happy, and a lot of house hunting which thankfully is over.

Eliza loved spending time with her big cousin Emily who was so sweet to her
We spent our last night with Daniel's brother.  I'm sad I didn't get pictures of our kids with their cousins here.

We played at the playland at the airport for a long time because our flight was delayed.  It was such a great trip.

Camano Island

My brother and sister in law just bought a house on the beach on Camano Island and it is so beautiful!  The girls had fun picking flowers and I'm not sure what they are holding here but it is something they found growing.

Cousin Camp!  The kids interviewed Grandpa and then wrote about an item that represented them and we put all of their items and writing in a time capsule.  My sister had lots of fun ideas for them and she even made them matching t-shirts.
