Goodbye October

We had so much fun when our friends came to town!  They will be moving here soon so we are super excited.

An evening hike

By the time we started hiking back it was late and very dark outside but it was a really fun adventure.

Andrew loves babies and is really good with them.

Rachel was teaching Eliza some ballet

Eliza kept talking about jumping in leaves "weaves" so Ethan helped rake a pile.

Some Fall fun. Whenever we talk about fall Eliza asks "Is it falling time? I want to jump in some weaves!"

There are a lot of days that her hair never gets done.

Hannah was very happy when Daniel volunteered to color with her.

My new favorite pic.

Brothers :)

I love her toothless smile

I may or may not have an obsession with educational activities that involve small figures...

I was able to help at Ethan, Hannah, and Andrew's classroom Halloween parties.  Andrew and Hannah couldn't wear costumes but they were supposed to wear orange and have crazy hair.  A funky pony tail was as crazy as I know how to get.

For our church Halloween party the scouts did some carnival games for the younger kids.  For this one the kids would try to hit the boys with sponges as they popped in and out of the holes. :)  Andrew had this idea from our old ward.  He has a wonderful scout leader and she sewed this for them.

Hanging out with friends and checking out the loads of trunk or treat candy.

The girls and I went to the magic house (children's museum) and there was an Eric Carle exhibit which was fun.

They love the nursery.

I had a fun day with my girls :).

Silly faces on Halloween.  I love how they each picked such unique and fitting jack-o-lantern faces which Daniel carved.  Andrew picked Harry Potter, Hannah designed her own and made it creative and pretty, Ethan is into spooky Halloween and wanted a scary face, and Eliza picked a cute smiling face.

I love this batman!

She's doing a cheer :)

Harry potter...He had the same costume last year but he is still into the books (we usually listen to them when doing road trips).  This is the first year I didn't get any of them costumes (usually I find them at garage sales).  They all just picked outfits out of our costume boxes.

Cinderella

We went trick or treating with our neighbors and Hannah was excited to be with her good friend.

The boys made it back first and had fun handing out the candy.

Small figures again...they are fun to play with when playing with playdough.

  1. It looks like you have such a pretty fall! I love that picture of all your kids in front of the pretty tree. :) I'm so glad you update your blog so I can read about what you're up to!
