Catching Up

Isn't that cool? The trees are all white in the background also and there is no snow, only ice.

We figured out that hammering into a potato is better than hammering into an apple...but he had fun.

Andrew doesn't have much homework which I'm grateful for but occasionally he has a math packet to prepare him for a test by reviewing what he has learned.  He likes math and I enjoy the math and science conversations him and Daniel get into.

Ethan has reading homework every night.  He is usually hard to get to sit down and focus, and I don't blame him after a long day at school.

I love that they dressed themselves to match :)

Our 3rd annual family fun day.  This was in January and we were lucky it was so beautiful.  We are playing at the park next to the temple.

A nice lady volunteered to take a family picture

Eliza loves cutting and is a good helper

Hannah has become a big reader lately- I love it!

A preschool field trip scavenger hunt on the trails around the pond.

Playing slap jack

I love preschool and have been keeping myself busy preparing for next year when I open "Jill"s Home Preschool" back up.  I have loved doing the co-op this year. I now do 4 out of every 5 weeks at my house and it has been really fun.  It is a great group of kids.

These next few pictures crack me up.  They were happening at the same time...

Valentine's Day cookies

He loves drawing designs like this. He was making a sweet valentine's card here.

Pledge of allegiance at preschool

Indoor recess at preschool

I love the community helpers theme

Making Valentines

They love when Daniel plays "fee fi fo fum" with them. I love Eliza's blurry expression.

This poor kid was pretty sick for a week.

Going to the daddy daughter dance at school.  Hannah was very excited and they had a blast.

Building Hopper an outdoor fence area

One of my favorites ever.

I love this kid

It was Ethan's turn to teach family home evening and he wanted to teach about Noah's ark.  Super cute.

Andrew loves playing the recorder.  I love how excited he gets about things.

A special Valentine's dinner from my wonderful husband

Ethan is super diligent about crossing out each day on the calendar every night.

We were babysitting our friends baby one day and walked to the park. Eliza loves babies and felt so big pushing her.

A winter picnic on a beautiful day. I love the warm weather but I did almost have a panic attack when the mosquitos came out in February for a couple of days. Yikes.
