We found a nest of baby bunnies.  They were super cute and little.  We played with them for about a week until they were big enough to leave the nest.  We'd watch the mom come to them and feed them in the evenings so we were glad she didn't reject them after we'd played with them.  I researched beforehand to make sure it was safe to play with them.

We enjoyed watching Andrew, Daniel, and some others lighting off a bunch of fireworks that friends were nice enough to bring over.  It was a great show.
