Christmas break and January Happenings

The week after Christmas was a wonderful week!  Daniel had the week off so we went and did lots of fun stuff.  It was a screen-free week for the kids.

Hannah with Aunt Martie's dog Pre.

Andrew used to love puzzles and occasionally he will still get into one

Football

I love this picture of Hannah

We went on a walk and got hot cocoa on a cold day

Jack and Annie from the magic tree house books- we had fun at the magic house (a children's museum)

How many ways can we slide down the stairs...

Pizza and sparkling cider for new years eve
Playing wii with cousins (I guess it wasn't a completely screen free week)

We went to the city museum which is an awesome place that is unlike anywhere else I've ever been. This picture is in the toddler area but it's a huge building full of slides and tunnels and crazy stuff to do.  It is really fun...a must to go do for whoever comes to visit with kids.

Making lunches to deliver downtown to the homeless.  Martie's family was doing it so we invited ourselves to help.

Cute boys playing in the pool
It was sad for Ethan and Eliza when Andrew and Hannah went back to school.  We try to keep ourselves busy.
We got out the winter books

One day Eliza was asking for Andrew and Hannah so Ethan put on his coat and shoes and walked out to the bus stop to pick them up (even though they still had a long time left at school).

Eliza is getting so big!

We love going to the library near our house

Ethan loves making smoothies

There are a lot of sunny but cold days

Exploring

This is the cute little pouty face she makes.  Luckily she has a good sister to cheer her up.

I love how Hannah wrote her name

Taking advantage of a warm day (every couple of weeks there is a random 60-70 degree day)

Hannah was an artist for community helper day at school
