Hannah's Birthday and Summer Fun

Andrew got his first babysitting job (at our house while I was home).  I told him he needed to make sure the kids were happy and safe and that all the messes were cleaned up. He did an awesome job.

Our summer "list".  It has been working very well. Once they are done with their list they have earned 30 minutes of screen time. It is too hot and humid to spend a lot of time outside but the mornings usually aren't too bad yet.

Father's Day.  Daniel is such a wonderful dad, I'm so grateful for him!

Doing the reading for their morning list

Happy 7th Birthday Hannah!

Hannah wanted to go to Grant's Farm for her birthday. She loves seeing the deer on the tram ride in.

She also loves feeding the baby goats bottles of milk.

The mist felt good, it was a hot day but not unbearably so.

slushies are also good for cooling kids down

...and coloring their tongues

Andrew had a week of scout camp in the evenings.  The final day was family day so we all got to come and go fishing with him.

Ethan's first fish. Eliza caught one too.

Hannah was the last one to have a go at it.  Everyone else had caught one and it was so cute how badly Andrew wanted Hannah to catch one also.

I think this is taken when they went to get more bait.  Andrew had to leave for the next station but Hannah stayed a little while to fish. Hannah caught one and when she told him he was very happy for her :)

Hannah had a baking birthday party. It was messy but fun.
